Abstract

This research assessed the utility of electronic self-reported seizure diaries and non-invasive wearable physiological sensor data to estimate seizure risk in retrospective and pseudo-prospective cohorts. It has shown that non-invasive wearable sensors in the field of seizure forecasting is not only possible but feasible and imminent. Prospective analysis and clinical trials should also be undertaken on longitudinal datasets in the future.
