Long-term video-EEG-ECG monitoring

Fees

We aim to keep our specialist fees to a minimum while delivering world-class care.

Medicare covers the majority of the cost of this service. The remainder is paid by you as a deposit no later than 2 days prior to your first appointment. The deposit to be paid is $561.40.

We believe that ECG data is critical for an accurate diagnosis and record ECG data during all studies, even if not explicitly requested by your doctor. If your doctor has explicitly asked for ECG on your referral form, an ECG report will be provided to your doctor and you may be eligible for a Medicare reimbursement of $162.25 Medicare has specific eligibility requirements which may impact your ability to claim a rebate.

Seer Medical will process your Medicare claims on your behalf after the report is sent to your referring doctor. This means you may receive the Medicare reimbursement four (4) or five (5) weeks after your monitoring is complete. We need the details of your current, valid Medicare card to be able to process claims on your behalf.

If you have any questions or if you believe you may be eligible for a reduction in fees, please ask our staff for more information about your specific study when you book.
