Who is this for?

Patients who benefit from Seer Medical’s diagnostic monitoring are those who present with:

  • Events with impaired awareness, unresponsive episodes or loss of consciousness
  • Possible seizures occurring during sleep
  • Unprovoked convulsive activity

As well as those with known epilepsy requiring characterisation of the nature of their events or assessment of response to treatment where subclinical seizures are suspected.

ReferralWe receive your referral to Seer Medical’s at-home diagnostics service. We call the patient to make an appointment when the referral is received.
MonitoringAt the connection appointment, the patient is fitted with the system at one of our clinics and sent home with the portable long-term monitoring system for the duration you have recommended.
ResultsThe data is analysed and interpreted by our team of neurophysiologists and reviewed by one of our neurologists. A report is sent to you within five weeks of the end of monitoring.
